We provide a sample MagElement data logging code for AUV/ASV users. They write their own data logging software. The sample code can be found here:
Our partner, Chesapeake Technology, developed MagElement data logging function in their SonarWiz software. if you have Windows OS on your platform, You can also use "MagViewMagElement" as well.

@rzhang
Thank you for sending the sample data in ASCII format. By the way, since the output data is in binary format, what functionalities are implemented on the AUV and ASVs side for the connection? Are you using Windows OS on the AUV and ASVs, along with "MagView MagElement" or "MagElementLogger"?
@matsuda
Yes, the raw data output from the Magelement is in binary format. Depending on the logging software, you can save the data in the binary format or a ascii file. A sample file is attached here.

Depending on customer feedback, we may release a binary-to-txt converter in the future.
@rzhang
Thank you for sending the file. By the way, is there a way to convert the data from binary to text format?
Additionally, is the data output from the MagElement in binary format?

A sample raw data file is attached. it is in binary format. i don't know how useful it is.
Could you please provide me with a sample data file recorded from the MagElement?
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
@matsuda
Thanks for your inputs! We will certainly consider implementing this new functionality in the future.
@rzhang
Thank you for your response. i do not have a specific application in mind yet, but i thought that being able to save data without a computer would make it more versatile for various uses. Additionally, having data stored internally would provide peace of mind in case of any Ethernet communication issues that prevent data acquisition.
it does not, although we will consider adding this functionality in the future as a licensed feature. What is your application for this saving-to-SD functionality? A marine base-station?
Does the MagElement have the functionality to record the acquired data onto a device like an internal SD card?
@rzhang oh i got it
@andreyudhistika it is the same link in the first post. i just replaced the file.
@rzhang sorry couldnt find it, could you provide link?
@andreyudhistika A new config file was uploaded a couple of days ago. Please download it again!
