StrataVisor NX Seismic Recorder

Geometrics'  StrataVisor NX  seismic recorder, combines the highest available 24-bit A/D performance with fast, easy to operate software for any seismic application. The StrataVisor is Geometrics premier marine acqusition system, boasting a near-zero dead time between shots to maximize boat speed and minimize survey cost. An impressive array of quality control software ensures your data is correct and  complies with you and your client's requirements.

StrataVisor NX Applications:

  • high resolution marine surveys, from 12 to 600 channels
  • tectonic studies
  • teaching and research
  • monitoring

The StrataVisor can be deployed with multiple processors so several tasks can be handled independently. Multiple tape drives, integration of position data, plotting near trace gathers, controlling multiple printers and on-the-fly brute stack are all handled simultaneously.

The NX is available in two formats, a 12 to 132 channel rack mount system and a 12 to 60 channel ruggedized portable.

Shell approved rack-mount 12 to 132 channel module with built-in controller and tape interface

Ruggedized 12 to 60 channel 12V portable, with built-in printer, color screen and high speed hardware correlator

Features:

The StrataVisor NX hardware and software have been honed by years at sea. By listening closely and responding quickly to the requests of customers and their clients, the NX has features that provide timely and accurate information to maximize data quality and minimize down time. The NX has been inspected by Shell Petroleum and has been approved for their surveys.
