Gardine Buys NX120 Marine Seismic Recorder
Geometrics is pleased to announce that Gardline, UK. has purchased their 6th large marine seismic system from Geometrics. Geometrics will be delivering the new StrataVisor NX 120 channel system with rack mount test box early in October for deployment in Africa.
The StrataVIsor NX was chosen for Gardline's next job as it is one of the few seismic systems tested and approved by Royal Dutch Shell for their demanding surveys. Shell spent several days at Geometrics facility and pronounced the NX passed after rigorous review and testing.
The StrataVisor NX has near zero dead time between shots, separate windows for gathers, brute stack, gun energy, gun timing and a robust 'sure-save' tape management system that guarantees no lost shots even when all tape drives fail.
