Equipment being returned for repair requires a Return Material Authorization number (RMA #). You must contact Support@geometrics.com to request a RMA #.
Upon receiving your equipment in our Customer Service department, a notification will be sent by email or fax to advise the arrival of your equipment. Due to a high volume of business, repair estimates will be sent within 3 weeks of the notification. Unit's sent to Geometrics without a RMA # will delay the turnaround time for the repair estimate.
The following information is required in order to generate a RMA:
· Full customer contact info (include email)
· Instrument name
· Serial number
· Description of the problem
· End User
- Effective January 1, 2008 Geometrics repair labor rate will be $120.00 per hour with a minimum 2 hour evaluation fee per instrument. Any repairs received prior to January 1, 2008 will be honored at the lower current rate of $95.00 per hour.
