The Regent Hill is an active gold mine. With over 200 bore holes on the mining site, the geology is well known.
The cross section represents a 360 meter Stratagem survey consisting of 24 individual stations. Each station was spaced 15 meters apart. The output of the Stratagem EMAP, 2D inversion process was contoured using Geosoft mapping software. The resistive (blue) areas on the map correspond to known silicified gold bearing veins.
Note the topography of the profile was determined by matching a topographic map to the survey coordinates. The vertical lines with horizontal tics correspond to the location of individual resistivity readings calculated by the Stratagem processing software and contoured by the mapping software.
